How to install

   Download the installer

   Click the button above to download Liao-win-Setup.exe.

   Double-click to run

   Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” message: click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. This is because the installer isn’t signed with a paid code-signing certificate yet; it is not a virus warning.

   Installed automatically

   It takes a few seconds, then Liao appears on your desktop and in the Start menu.

   Sign up and log in

   The first time it opens, log in with your username or email. If you don’t have an account yet, sign up on the website first.

Windows 10 (1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit

Microsoft Edge WebView2 (built into Windows 11; on Windows 10 it usually comes with Edge, and the app tells you if it’s missing)

About 800 MB (includes the components LINE needs and the auto-update cache)

App language

6 languages: 简体中文, 繁體中文, English, 日本語, ไทย, Tiếng Việt (follows your system by default; change it in Settings)

Network

A connection that can open WhatsApp, LINE and the other apps normally

To uninstall: find Liao in Windows Settings → Apps. Uninstalling doesn’t delete your logins for each app; reinstall and carry on.
