About us
Liao is a chat translator for Windows, made by the Liao team.
What Liao is
Liao runs on your Windows PC and is for people who chat across languages: with a partner from another country, with family who live far away, with the caregiver who looks after someone you love. In chats like WhatsApp, LINE and Telegram, messages are translated as they arrive, and what you write is translated for you.
Whether and when to send is always up to you: you press Send yourself. What Liao remembers about each person is stored only on your computer, and you can clear it in Settings at any time.
